The Art of Casting Your Cares on Him

It seemed as if it was me against the world. I had so many problems that I couldn’t see how God could even rectify them. Have you ever been at this point during your walk with God? The point where you didn’t see a way out so you in a sense belittled God by comparing His ability to human capabilities? I completely understand that life can sometimes treat you in such a way. We have to cast our cares on God because He cares for us. By releasing your concerns to God you invite Him into your situations. His Son has already been invited in your life granting you eternal life; so why not give Him an open invitation to your life affairs? Yes, He’s well aware of what you’re facing! The only question here is do you trust God enough to give your cares to Him completely; taking your hands off them? The Bible says to cast your “concerns” on Him because you are His concern. So when we cast our concerns on Him, they’re no longer our concerns. Therefore we should not dwell on solutions or even possible outcomes. One of the main purposes of praying is to simply give God your concerns. This is where His peace settles in you and every bit of your being can rest assured. Settle in your mind TODAY, that God already had the solutions before you had the problems. Wow, so He not only wants our concerns but He expects them too. This concept makes it a lot easier to go to Him in prayer and release your concerns, without hesitation! And then wait patiently anticipating nothing but the best results. Lets give Him our concerns whole heartedly!

Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

  1. This one really touched my heart. I’ve been going through a period of tribulation that on the surface looks really bad… Over the past couple of months I’ve found myself doubting God quite often, only to have Him come through for me in a form that was completely unexpected. This convicted me and I found myself apologizing to God and worshiping Him. He is worthy to be praised and He is just and faithful to take care of your concerns. My problems are not bigger than my God. I guess I’ve always known that, but thanks for the reminder.

  2. When you allow yourself to be used by our father in heaven, You position yourself to be a blessing to others and the Lord will continuously bless you. I thank you for being a blessing to me as well as others.
