Organization is a great character trait. As we prepare for a new year I want to urge you to write your goals and agendas for the entire year. In addition to your writings you want to include deadlines. You may say to yourself that nothing we write is ever accomplished. I agree only because I know that sometimes something will happen in our life that will bring our goals/dreams to a total halt. YES, there will be delays and detours along the way so expect them … Nevertheless, God is in control! Although we have our plans listed, we still must trust God and His provisions for our lives. Every trial, challenge and obstacle we faced in 2011 was without a doubt preparation for 2012. Now we’re able to endure while some of us simply learned to stand still and see God’s salvation. Now that you have an approved mind, challenge next year, do not allow next year to challenge you!
I know that you’ve noticed the abrupt loss of love ones in this season. . My heart goes out to you or anyone else who’s lost someone … I’ve been there … this is only the beginning and you are going to heal in His timing. It is sad yet God doesn’t make any mistakes and He’s well aware of what He’s doing. I only said that to say that we lived to see another year for a reason. God has a plan for our lives and it’s absolute. His plans for us are good and perfect in spite of how it may look. His plan for our lives will come to pass … As a matter of fact, His plans for our lives are so certain that we can’t omit them. We entering 2012 means that we are closer to our destiny which is proof that no weapon that’s formed against us shall prosper.
God is omnipresent so He knows exactly where we are. With this awareness, we should allow God to order our steps. This means seeking His council about everything of our life both minor and major. I believe that this is God’s definition of praying without ceasing; if you do not already have a prayer life develop one in 2012. Use prayer to shut down barriers so that we can walk upright in this New Year. All the things that we can’t do ourselves, we will give them to God with gladness because what seems impossible for man is possible for God.
